He is survived by: his wife Vernice Rushing; his daughters, Carol Rushing of Grey, LA, Sheila Myrick of Moundsville, AL and Anita Sloan of Ellisville, MS; and his brothers, Donald Rushing (Connie) and Daniel Rushing (Kathy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; and a whole bunch of nieces and nephews.
