He is survived by: his children, Josh Yates (Madison) of Laurel, Justin Yates (Jessie) of Petal, Hannah Yates and Brayden Hill; his grandchildren, Joshua, Malie, Brycelyn, Jaksyn, Kden and Winter Yates; his parents, John Yates of Laurel and Cathy Breazeale of Laurel; and his sisters, Paula Landrum, Pam Braddock (Tony), Rachel Whigham (Stony) and Tasha Chancellor (James). He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
