It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Ewing Pilgrim of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Doris Flowers Ewing and George Ewing; her grandparents, Howard and Addie Flowers; her husband Frank Pilgrim; her children, Howard Franklin Pilgrim and Judith Amanda Nichols (Mandy); her granddaughters, Morgan Elizabeth Haliloglu and Shanna Dickman Smith; her brother Andy Ewing; her stepfather Jimmy Cook; her daughters, Karen Cannon (Tammy), Susan Kelly (Brian) and June Haliloglu (Sal); her grandchildren, Kellee Cannon, Michael Cannon (Megan), Emily Nichols (Knita), Lindsay Samsel, Stephen Kelly (Alana), Madison Hervey (Seth) and Megan Haliloglu; her great grandchildren, Ashley Gayle, Colton Smith, Cayson Hardisty, Taylor, John Cannon, Lincoln Samsel, Hall Hervey, Jude Cartwright-Nichols and Lily Hardisty; her brothers, George Ewing (Diane), Ricky Cook (Cindy) and Randy Cook (Angel); her siblings' children, Tommy Ewing (Johnnie), Tim Ewing (Kim) and Stephanie Connell (Charles); and her close friends, Roy and Sue Wyrick.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Operation Christmas Child at First Baptist Church of Laurel, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
