He is survived by: his wife Judy Buckelew Black; his daughters, Karen Hubbard and Brenda Baswell (Richard Baswell); his siblings, Jerry Black (Carolyn) and Margie Ann Watkins (Vernel); his grandchildren, Jessica Brewer, Ethan Brewer, Kaitlyn Dukes, Madison Lakins, Ricky Baswell and Anna Helman; and his stepson Eric Voock.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem Heights Baptist Church (5850 US-84, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
