She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Rebecca Knight and Charles Edward Brown. She is survived by: her husband J. C. Carlisle; her daughters, Amanda Kaye Carlisle, Jami Rebecca Carlisle and Erika Griffin; her brothers, Charles Edward Brown, Jr. and Stephen Lawrence Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Ray Carlisle, Michael Carlisle and Sylvia Carlisle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
