He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Johnson and Jewel Johnson; his sisters, Carolyn Olivier (Gene Rene Olivier) of Huntsville and Joan Windham Holder (Bill Holder) of Laurel, Mississippi; his niece Connie Zino; and his nephew David Olivier.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Johnson; his children, Eric Johnson (Stephanie) and Leeann Johnson Bookout (Todd); his great grandchildren, Madison Walley (Nathan), Rivers Johnson (Matt Adams), Lakyn Johnson, Joseph Bookout, Maci, Kelsey, Wes, Jacob Bookout, Jayden, Brees, Keaton, Joshua Bookout and Anna Bookout Super (Tristan); his sister Dorothy Ladoceour; and his nieces and nephews, Gayle DeMeo, Greg Windham (Lisa), Steven Olivier and Susan Fikes (Harlow). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
