He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Holifield and Lois Holifield; his son Lee Thomas Holifield; and his parents-in-law, Harold and Ollie Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife Lanell Holifield; his daughters, Kimberly Holifield of Laurel and Kacey Holifield (Justin Locklear) of Hattiesburg; his siblings, Beverly Buckley (Jay) of Atlanta, GA, Glenn Holifield (Joan), Terry Holifield (Donna) of Laurel and Linda; and his brother-in-law Larry Hilbun of Ellisville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
