He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Busby Jr. and Cordia Sue Jernigan Busby. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Busby; his sons, Leonard Kye Busby IV and Christopher Brant Busby (Laura); his sisters, Shelia Martin (James B.) and Jennifer Gaskin (Bobby); and his grandsons, Leonard Beau Busby V and Britton Slade Busby.
In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that memorial contributions be made to The First Baptist Church of Laurel or the Gideons International Ministry.
