It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lythia Rachel Hankins of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Ables and Ruebelle Shrock; and her siblings, James Ables and Fannie Jewel Siddon. She is survived by: her husband Don Hankins (Ray); her children, Ronnie Hankins (Celina) and Kendra Allen (Bryan); her stepson Richard Lambert (Madeline); her grandchildren, Malichi Holfield (Nikki), Isaac Allen, Desirae Hankins, Elijiah Allen and Hayley Hankins; her stepgranddaughter Tasha Farrish; her brothers, Lamar Ables (Elaine), Dale Ables and Tony Ables (Jane); and her great grandchild Sophia Holfield. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
