She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Schrimpshire; her parents, Fred Mason Peak and Edna Mae Cox Platt; and her siblings, Freddie Earl Peak, Charles Cox, Molly and Bonnie.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Marie Kersh, Richard Douglas Schrimpshire (Shannan) and Matthew Schrimpshire; her grandchildren, Richard Blake Schrimpshire, Danielle LaShae Schrimpshire, Breanna Gregory, Matthew Jason Schrimpshire, Stephen Schrimpshire and Cavan Sampson Kersh; and her close friend James Garrett Etheridge.
