It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Bell of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker Wade and Etta Kate Perkins; her siblings, Thomas Albert "Snowball" Perkins, Lelia Zaring (Mary Ann), John Alton Perkins, Beverly Ellzey and Stevie Perkins; and her husband Bobby Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Hathorn (Carol), Bubba Hathorn (Cassie), Huong van Nguyen and Ann Marie Hathorn; her granddaughters, Mallory Giovengo (Brandon), Erin Harrison (Nathan), Baylea Hogan, Taylor Hathorn and Brooklyn Tucker (John Thomas); her great grandchildren, Abree, AnaLynn Giovengo, Jaden Flynt, Hollyn and Hayes Tucker; and her pets, Charlie and Mac. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Indian Springs Baptist Church (500 Indian Springs Ch Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
