She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Luther and Lucy Watts; her son Scott Batte; and her husband Travis Batte. She is survived by: her children, Carol Joplin (David), Wayne Batte (Robin) and Betty Lynn Walley; and her grandchildren, Kyle Joplin, Kelly Aycock (Shelton), Kenny Batte (Megan), Justin Batte (Lauren), Jaclyn Dunkerton (Thomas) and Jennifer Taylor (Cole). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
