She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Alford and Beulah Tera Herrington (Brunson); and her husband Murray. She is survived by : her children, Teresa Jo Pierce, Al Wallace (Melanie) and Sue Rayburn (Larry); her grandchildren, Jay Davis, John Wallace (Katie), Trey Rayburn (Katie), Clint Rayburn (Kandi), Landon Wallace (Jennifer) and Halley Strickland (Phillips); and her brother Ronald A. Herrington (Loucinda). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
