It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Rhydonna Stewart of Laurel, Mississippi, born in Soso, Mississippi, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ted and Vila Jefcoat Black; and her siblings, Vernell Powell and Gerald Black. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Stewart; her children, Jeffery Stewart (Melissa) and Jan Walters (Greg); her grandchildren, Scott Stewart (Jennifer), Kacy Parker, Wendy Freeman (Cory) and Haley Tucker (Preston); her sister Martile Moss; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Black, Hilda Powell (Allen), Patsy Holifield and Charles Powell. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
