He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Savell; his daughter Aletha Ann Ham; his parents, Robert Savell and Elvie Savell; his siblings, Edsel Savell, Mary Reagan (Cowboy) and Jeanette Irons (Billy); and his grandson Blake Savell.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Savell (Carmel), Kenneth Savell (Laurie) and Doloise Holloway (Terry); his brother Pheris Savell (Norma); and his grandchildren, Delayne Savell (Nekesha), Joshua Guthrie, Jeremiah Guthrie (Julie), Joseph Ham (Carrie), Blair Savell (Rachel), Jennifer Easterling (Ben), Stephanie Livingston (Jason), Rachel Ham, Ashley Savell and Brittani Moss (T. J.). He is also survived by 29 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that donations be made in Dr. Savell's memory to Southeastern Baptist College in Laurel, MS.
