She was predeceased by: her husband William Clayton Taylor; her daughter Mary Lafaye Taylor; her parents, Leroy Sims and Jimmie Sims; and her siblings, Verlon Wiles, Merlene Ivey, Elizabeth Cooley, Eleanor Cochran and James Sims.
She is survived by: her children, Rayford Taylor (Sheila) of Laurel, MS, Clay Taylor (Susan) of Laurel, MS, Jimmy Taylor (Melissa) of Laurel, MS and Linda Dearman (Robert) of Purvis, MS; her grandchildren, Joey Taylor, Lauree Ward, Sara Hester, Carrie Shearer, Sonya Mott, Stormy Sherman, Ryan Taylor, Jessica Carney, Jeremy Dearmon, Allison Dearman, Laken Miller, Chance Taylor, Derek Dearman and Devan Dearman; and her caregivers, Mary Altman Beckham and Ashli Palmer. She is also survived by thirty-two great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
