She was predeceased by: her daughter Judia Adean McNeil; her parents, Dewey Guthrie and Nancy Cooley Guthrie; and her sons-in-law, Kerry A. Whitmore and Bill Patton.

She is survived by: her children, Herman (Hoffman, Jr.), Sherry Whitmore and Myrtis Dean Patton. She is also survived by Five grandchildren.
