We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2023, at the age of 37, Michael Shawn Fowler of Laurel, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Elizabeth Hutchinson (Libby) and Roger Hutchinson; his great-grandparent Louetta Miles; his grandparents, Louetta Miles, Buford and Bobbie Fowler; and his uncle Robert Ray Fowler.

He is survived by : his mother Sheryl Elizabeth Bryant (Alan) of Laurel Mississippi; his children, Liam Fowler and Fiona Fowler; his father Roger Fowler; his siblings, Brandon Johnson (Sara), Christopher Fowler (Trista), Shaun Fowler and Courtney Odom (William); his nephews, Benjamin "Benji" Johnson, Hunter Odom and Jackson Fowler; his niece Mia Johnson; and his grandmother Elsie Hutchinson. He is also survived by other family members consisting of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 20th 2023 at 4:30 PM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 20th 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Antioch United Methodist Church (845 Lower Myrick Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
