He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thornhill; his children, Mitchell "Bubba" Thornhill, Jr. (Kayla) and Crystal West (Mike); his son-in-law Steven Read; his stepchildren, Chris Lightsey (Nickie), Kenny Lightsey (Vera) and Beth Lightsey; and his siblings, Jim Thornhill (Janet), Dennis Thornhill (Clara), Scooter Thornhill (Tena), Lajuan Walker and Sue Thornhill. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
