She is survived by: her children, Kevin Johnston (Pam) of Laurel and Brenda Pitts (Bryan) of Goose Creek, SC; her son-in-law Larry Johnson of Laurel; her grandchildren, Melanie Flowers (Jonathan) of Laurel, Michael Johnson (Chelsa) of Ellisville, Corey Johnson (Brittany) of Summerville, SC, Shane Johnston (Julie) of Sharon, Justin Johnston (Illisia) of Sharon, Emily Potter (Jamie) of Moncks Corner, SC and Calvin Pitts (Kayla) of Goose Creek, SC; her great grandchildren, Jake Flowers (Haleigh), Ty Flowers, Samuel Flowers, Makayla Johnson, MaKenna Johnson, Blakely Johnson, Elliana Johnson, Rase Johnston and Rainie Pitts; her sisters, Jeanine Zimmerman of Ohio and Candace Gearheart of Georgia; and her grandsons, Jonathan Flowers, Jake Flowers, Ty Flowers and Samuel Flowers. She is also survived by her family, blessing her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel of Laurel (4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at the Sunset Gardens Cemetery (10 Fairington Ct, Laurel, MS 39440).
