Pauline Marie Newcomb Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2025, at the age of 95, Pauline Marie Newcomb of Laurel, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Pauline may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Pauline touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband O. K. Newcomb; her parents, Charlie B. Wade and Gursie Lillie Moore Wade; her great grandchildren, Justin Strickland and Joshua Strickland; and her children-in-law, Donald Middleton and Shirley Newcomb.
She is survived by: her children, Otis C. Newcomb, Billy Newcomb, Peggy Strickland of Laurel, MS and Annette Middleton. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ellisville Funeral Home (1204 B Avenue, Ellisville, MS 39437). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Fairview Baptist Church (39 Fairview Church Rd, Laurel, MS 39443).
