She was predeceased by: her parents, Elson Kendall Collins and Grace Reams Easterling Collins; and her husband Joseph Savan Gatlin II of Laurel. She is survived by: her children, Kendall Reams Gatlin Parker and Joseph Savan Gatlin III; and her grandchildren, Virginia Reams Parker Grimes, John Elson Gatlin, Louis Joseph Gatlin, Asa Culpepper Gatlin and Joseph Savan Gatlin, IV.
