We bid farewell to Raymon Scott Busby of Laurel, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Raymon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scott Busby and Marie Snellgrove Busby; and his wife Leevina "Jo" Busby. He is survived by: his children, Jason Busby (Melissa), Neil Busby (Eunice), Sherri Busby Hughes and Renee Busby Johnston; his stepdaughter Susan Merlene Whitley (Randy); his grandchildren, Lee Cockrill, Jessica Koonce, Mitchell Johnston, Grant Johnston, Joel Johnston and Kendall Busby; and his great grandchildren, Kellin Martin and Kalista Koonce.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Marion Hamasa Shrine Club Transportation Fund at 5516 Dale Drive, Marion, Mississippi 39342.
