He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh B. McKenzie, Sr. and Ruby Lee Brown McKenzie; and his siblings, James "Jimmy" McKenzie and Castella "Stella" McKenzie Barron. He is survived by: his wife Denice Wheat McKenzie; his siblings, Hugh "Bill" McKenzie, Jr. and Kelly McKenzie Bisnette; his niece Katie Sumrall (Tripp); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Leigh and Sadie. He is also survived by step-son, daughter-in-law, grandson, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests that any family or friends attending dress casual and that in lieu of sending flowers, they ask that donations be made to support the Alzheimer's Association-Mississippi Chapter.
