He is survived by: his wife Nina Ann Bartran; his children, Robert "Bart" Bartran III (Angela), Regina Ann Bartran and Walter Harper Bartran (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Tristan Bartran, Grayson Bartran, Adelaide Dixon, Karsten Bartran, Collin Bartran, Emily Dixon, Madison House and Natalie House; his great grandchild John Allen Bartran; and his siblings, Frank Bartran (Maylon), Roy Bartran (Susan), Randal Knight and Marcelle Harwell (Tom).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lebanon Baptist Church (166 Loftin Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery (166 Loftin Rd, Laurel, MS 39443).
