He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jackson Rushton and Nettie Chancellor Lang; his brother John Ernest Rushton; and his son John Robert Rushton. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rushton; his children, Robert Lee Rushton (Leisa), Tracy Arnold (Steve), Deborah Smith (Mark Dwayne), Kimberly Smith and Mark Jason Smith (Cassandra); and his former wife Greer Rushton. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
