With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Jewell Bynum of Laurel, Mississippi, born in Holly Bluff, Mississippi, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas 'Tom' and Effie Eather Tune Sumrall. She is survived by: her husband Robert Bynum; her son Chris Bynum (Brittney); her grandchildren, Braxton Bynum, Latham Bynum, Morgan Davis and Anna Davis; her great grandchild Jax Hill; and her siblings, Carl Sumrall (MaryAnn) and Tommie Ritchey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Calhoun Women's Missionary Auxiliary.
