He is survived by: his wife Connie Roney; his children, Tyler Roney (Anneliese) and Payton Roney Hodo (David); his grandson Preston Roney; his mother Sue Roney; and his sisters, Twila Walters (Robbie) and Susan Wolgamott (Neil). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Indian Springs Baptist Church (500 Indian Springs Ch Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Indian Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (500 Indian Springs Ch Rd, Laurel, MS 39443).
