She was predeceased by: her father Huey "Big Papa" Ulmer; her husbands, Willard Wilson Hill and Charles Eugene Wheeler; her mother Minnie Emmie Welborn Ulmer; her siblings, Vallie Ulmer Temple, Owens Ulmer, Odis Ulmer, Emmie Lee Ulmer, Ernest Ulmer, Willie Bee Ulmer Bass, Estelle Ulmer Hancock, Minnie Lou Ulmer Hill, William Ray Ulmer and Robert Eugene Ulmer; her son Jimmy Ray Hill; and her granddaughter Paula Hicks Gipson.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Terri Rhea (Alan), Andrea Hill and Lindy Lee (David).
