With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walton Allen Hodge (Laurel, Mississippi), who passed away on September 4, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Walton leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Walton may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton Quitman Hodge and Dovie Mae Anderson. He is survived by: his children, Miranda West (Casey) and Nathan Hodge (Amanda); his siblings, Barbara Scott, Amy Manning and Larry Hodge; and his grandchildren, Kinsley, Kyleigh West, Rylan and Lakyn Hodge. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
