It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lamar Manning Sr. (Laurel, Mississippi), born in Philadelphia, Mississippi, who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Manning and Jessie Manning; his siblings, Claude Manning (Laverne), Jimmy Manning, Hildrea Tidwell and Winfred; and his sisters-in-law, Wilistine Blackledge, Mary Blackledge and Frances Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Manning; his children, Regina Reddoch (Mark) and William Lamar Manning, Jr. (Billy); his grandchildren, Kerrie Sherrell (Randy), Kristie Reddoch, Taylor Hodge (Zach) and Tanner Manning; his great grandchildren, Ellie Sherrell and Leo Sherrell; his sister Wildrea Walters (Doug); his siblings-in-law, Ann Manning, Morris Tidwell, Floyd Pitts and Orville Blackledge; his brother Hollis; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Blackledge. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
