He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Bliss Breland and Deta Trest Breland; and his siblings, Barbara Willingham and Gerald Breland. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Petrie Breland; his daughters, Sara Knox (Carrey), Melinda Scott (Tom) and Cynthia Mintz (Brian); and his siblings, Jennie Tillman (Gary) and Charles Breland (Debra). He is also survived by brothers and sisters in law, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
