He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Ellzey and Shellie Parker Ellzey; and his wife Joyce Johnson Ellzey. He is survived by: his children, Guy Ellzey (Kathy) of Laurel and Gaylynn Cantrell (Scott) of Hatley, MS; his grandchildren, Lauren Scott (Grant), Katelyn Bryant (Landon), Brittany Sherman (Blake), Natalie Smith (Braden), Abby Applewhite (Russell) and Will Cantrell; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Sherman, Charlie Bryant, Sadie Kate Scott and Lake Sherman.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Union Line Cemetery.
