We bid farewell to Mamie D. Nester (Lawrence, Mississippi), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 1, 2025 at the age of 94. Mamie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Gibbs and Sadie Gibbs; her husband Edward Nester; her grandson Jake Nester; and her siblings, Myrtis McCrory, Mary Sue Fulton, Bill Gibbs and Charles Gibbs.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Amis (Ed) of Lake, Betty Evans (Jack) and Eddie Nester (Jan) of Lake. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild.
