She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Franklin Staley; her parents, Howard Lamar Strickland and Jessie Lee Ezell Strickland; and her siblings, Mae Jewel Pickett, Geneva Cameron, Leonard Lamar Strickland and Bobby Dean Strickland.
She is survived by: her sons, Lee Arthur Lunsford, Jr. and Howard Benjamin Lunsford (Carolyn); her siblings, Earnestine Moore, Vongia Lee Fountain (Michael), Howard Junior Strickland and Jerry Lavon Strickland (Mesha); and her grandchildren, Sarah, Jessica, Wyatt, Isabel and Natalie. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
