He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Smith and Wynema Smith; and his brother Zack Smith. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Smith; his children, Robbie Smith (Traci), Wyatt Smith (Marlena) and Tabatha Gavin (Lance); his grandchildren, Missy Lane Smith and Annzlee Dale Gavin; and his siblings, Don Smith, Rickey Smith (Susan) and Janice Cassidy (Nicky).
