He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lois Christy; his children, JJ McLain, Susan Hite (Johnathan), Sarah Jordan (Albert) and James Christy (Olivia); and his siblings, Fay Beth Smith, Ann Bradley and Jimmie Christy. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
