He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Ann Boothe; his parents, James Boothe Sr. and LaVaughn Boothe; and his siblings, Martha Green, John Thomas Boothe and Sandy Woods.
He is survived by: his children, James "Scooter" Boothe (Shelby), Stephen Boothe (Lauria), John Boothe (Lacy) and DJ Boothe (Marjorie). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
