He was predeceased by : his son Vernon Wilmoth; his former life partner Mary Jo Wilmoth; his parents, Hilton Lee and Mary Kathleen Maddox Wilmoth; and his siblings, John Aaron Wilmoth, Richard Allen Wilmoth, Bobby Lee Wilmoth, Pee Wee Wilmoth, Marie Wilmoth Glenn, Mary Lou Wilmoth and Patricia Wilmoth.

He is survived by : his wife Norma Ruth Pierce Wilmoth; his son William T. Wilmoth, Jr. (Teena Lee); his stepdaughters, Shawn Strahan (Keith) and Rena Thacker (Michael); and his siblings, Joe Wilmoth, Donald Wilmoth and Betty Jean Bright. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; numerous other relatives and friends.
