He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Douglas of Raymond, MS; his children, Jesus, Twyla Jackson (Kerry) of Atlanta, GA, John Douglas (Susan) of Learned, MS, Lisa Quinn of Brandon, MS, Leigh Ann Gulley (Zach) of Monroe, LA and Lauren Carpenter (Sam) of Memphis, TN.; his grandchildren, Kaci Sanderson (Eric), Kori Stokes (Chris), Lee Douglas (Natalie), Ashley Douglas, Will Stuart and Rowan Gulley; his great grandchild Douglas; his sister Faye Peoples (David) of Florence, MS; his former life partner Kathy Cannon of Clinton, MS.; and his son Ben Lilley (Michelle) of Clinton, MS..

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hinds Independent Methodist Church (14938 Old Port Gibson Rd, Raymond, MS 39154). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024.
