He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Lee Tupper and Bertha Tupper; his wife Julia Cole Tupper; and his children, Karen Wilson (Alan), Donna Woods (David) and Randy Tupper. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leland Methodist Church (2743 202 N Broad St, Leland, MS 38756). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baptist Medical Dental Mission International (BMDMI.org) in Hattiesburg MS.
