He is survived by: his son Eddie Vanhorn of Leland, MS; his granddaughters, Candy Nye (Allen) of Cleveland, MS and Christy Vanhorn Thompson (Marvin) of Leland, MS; his sister-in-law Paulette Hougas of Leland, MS.; his great grandchildren, William Horne, Chasity Thompson, Charlee Thompson, Taidyn Boudreaux and Skylann Boudreaux; and his nieces, Connie Aaron, Sandy Tullos, Melissa Burk and Annette Keeton.
Joseph Vanhorn will be remembered not only for his contributions to his career but also for the warmth and love he shared with those around him.
