We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2022, Maie Pope Bell of Leland, Mississippi, born in Columbus, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Curtiss Buder Sherrod and Henry Pope Sherrod; her husband James Oscar Bell, Jr.; her sister Melissa Sherrod Taylor; and her brother-in-law James Edwin "Jamie" Taylor.
She is survived by: her sons, Henry Pope Bell, James Oscar "Jamie" Bell, III (Marla) and David Leslie Bell (Laura); her grandchildren, Lindsey Taylor Bell, Shaifer Pope Bell, Shattuck James Bell (Cricket), Ransome Meyer Bell, Ashley Farmer Culbertson (Jack) and Andrew Madison Farmer (Brinkley); and her sibling's children, Lynn Taylor Baker (Ernie) and Richard Sherrod Taylor (Amy). She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
