He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hemphill and Henry Hemphill; his son Will Hemphill; and his aunt Wanda Ross. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Jennifer Lyons, Jamey Smith (Jessica) and Jeremy Smith; his siblings, Johnny Hemphill (Patty) of Leland, Beverly Moffett (Tom) of Ripley, MS and Linda Chatman of Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Zackary Hambrick, Jason Dunn, Mallory Lyons, Matthew Lyons, Kenny Lyons, Raven Tarver, Madison Steed, John Tanner Lindsey and Paxton Etheridge. He is also survived by great-grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Instead of flowers, the family asks that memorials or donations be made either to the family to help with the cost of the funeral or a charity of your choice.
