She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Sims and Claude Harthcock; her sister Bobbie Bonderer; her daughter Mary Bea Carnathan; and her grandson Shea Carnathan.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Carnathan Sanford, Bubber Carnathan (Tess) and Don Carnathan (Pam); her grandchildren, Libby Carnathan Grantham (John), Luke Carnathan (Trish), Patrick Sanford, Julia Sanford and Sarah Carnathan; her great grandchildren, Lawson McReynolds, Reese McReynolds, Anna Reeves Sanford, Braeden Kahoe and Alana Carnathan; and her great great grandchild Slade McReynolds.
In Lieu of flowers the family asked for memorials to be sent to St Jude Children's Hospital or Fist Baptist Church, Lexington, Mississippi in honor of Doris.
