He is survived by : his children, Karen Eldridge (Tracy), Jon Ables (Amanda) of Lexington, MS. and Thad Ables (Christy) of Lexington, MS.; and his brother Billy Mac Ables. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
