With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hugh Meade of Lexington, Mississippi, born in Joiner, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2026 at the age of 86. He is survived by: his wife Tommye Shannon Meade; his daughters, Lisa Hancock (George) and Angel Meade; his grandsons, Zach Hancock, Thomas Mitchell (McKenzie), Matthew Hancock (Katelyn) and William Mitchell; his great grandchild Madelyn Grace "Sweet Pea" Hancock; and his siblings, Pam Nichols and Michael Meade.
