He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gresham Reed Jr. and Bernice Havard Reed; and his brothers, Danny Reed and Thomas Reed. He is survived by: his wife Lou Reed; his daughter Melanie Sterling (Joseph); his stepdaughter Debra Hood; his grandchildren, Cole Whittington, Heidi Hood, Zoey Sterling and Jace Sterling; and his sisters, Ginger Priest and Carol Reed.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
