He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel Nunnery and Birdie Lee Thompson Nunnery; and his siblings, Morris Bates, Carl Bates, Roosevelt Nunnery and Betty Ruth Nunnery Magee.

He is survived by : his wife Nellie Allen Nunnery; his children, Larry Nunnery (Moneka) of Liberty, Quintrell Nunnery (Chablif) of Arlington, Texas and Oreal Nunnery (Percy) of McComb, Mississippi; his siblings, Matthew Nunnery of New Orleans, LA, James Nunnery of New Orleans, LA, Jessie Bates of Laplace, LA, Leontine Dennis of New Orleans, LA and Mildred Richardson of New Orleans, LA; and his grandchildren, Zaterrica, Del'Quanna, Shantrell, Dejah, Onasiah and Tierney. He is also survived by sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
