We announce the death of Geraldine Williams of Liberty, Mississippi, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 90. Geraldine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Geraldine will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Geraldine will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Geraldine’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson "A. J." Woodall and Annie Edwards Woodall; her siblings, Barbara Bankston (T. J.) and David Woodall; and her nephew Greg Bankston.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Williams and Maxie Williams; and her nephew Chuck Woodall (Tina). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robinson Baptist Church (3955 Peoria Rd, Liberty, MS 39645). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
